“Senior students are often required to carry a large number of text and reference books, which the Portfolio Briefcase is perfectly capable of accommodating,” says Quadra’s Iain Lamb. “The bag’s main zippered compartment can be easily expanded to increase the carrying capacity to 16 litres. And when the extra capacity is not required, the QD65 can just as easily be ‘zipped back down’ to a compact 12-litre capacity bag.”

The QD65 features a detachable adjustable shoulder strap, with pad to distribute the weight of heavy loads across the pupil’s shoulders. Another practical selling point is the bag’s wheelie bag strap to the rear. “This allows students to quickly secure the QD65 to a standard luggage carrier (not included) for added comfort and convenience, both during the school day and during their journey to and from school,” Iain Lamb explains.

As well as the expandable zippered main compartment, the QD65 includes an internal organiser and front flap zippered pocket. Twin front clips secure the large front flap, which provides a generous 35 x 16 cm area for decoration. The bag measures 41 x 34 x 10 cm and comes in a choice of Black, Dark Graphite or French Navy colours.
