Plans are well under way for Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2011. And with more than 70% of the stands already booked for next year’s show, potential exhibitors are being encouraged to contact sales manager, Tony Gardner, to reserve their space...
Printwear & Promotion LIVE! attracted almost 4,500 attendees this year, and the show has consistently pulled in more than 4,000 visitors in the last six years.
The big five printwear distributors have already signed up to our 2011 show, along with some of the biggest brands in the industry.
Says Sales Manager, Tony Gardner: “We have had some tremendously positive feedback about this year’s show from visitors and exhibitors alike. The show was very well received and well attended.”
The show, which takes place in Hall 12 at the NEC, Birmingham, from Sunday, February 27 to Tuesday, March 1, is the event of the year in the printwear and promotion calendar.
It’s a one stop shop for all the latest in garment printing and embroidery machinery to brandable clothing and ancillary products.
Taking place over three days, the first day of the show is on a Sunday, which gives smaller businesses the opportunity to visit, without taking a day out from the working week.
Says Tony: “People are always keen to learn new ways of doing things and to be up to speed on the most modern techniques that are available. And it was evident from this year’s seminar programme that the presentations that attracted the biggest audiences were those that helped take businesses forward.
“This is the one point in the year where anyone interested in printwear and garment decoration techniques can get everything under one roof.”
Whether you are a start-up or established business, a whole host of experts will be on hand, offering expert advice – free of charge.
Adds Tony: “Of course, this will be the first opportunity for many to see the latest garments and colour trends featured in the 2011 brochures."
The daily live fashion shows are always a popular feature of Printwear & Promotion LIVE!
New choreography for 2010 introduced a new dynamic to the shows, according to Tony, and we look forward to showcasing the 2011 ranges on the catwalk.
Another popular feature of the show is the Printwear & Promotion Garment Decoration Awards which attracted a record number of high calibre entries for 2010. Look out for more details and the entry form in next month’s Printwear & Promotion.
P&P editor, Debbie Eales comments: “Printwear & Promotion LIVE! really brings the garments to life. Visitors will be spoilt for choice – and there is no substitute for being able to examine a garment close-up to feel the quality, see the design details and, of course, to explore the decoration potential.
“This year’s show was incredibly lively – it was good to see the buzz around the stands. Exhibitors were delighted with the number of inquiries from potential new customers. There was something new happening every day. And it was great being able to send visitors away, full of ideas and inspiration.
“Even more brilliant is the fact that there is so much expertise on tap. Where else can you get that? We are currently working on next year’s seminar programme, with the accent very heavily on knowledge transfer and ideas to help boost the bottom line.”
All the big machinery suppliers will be at Printwear & Promotion LIVE! which makes it easy for visitors to find the right machine for the right job.
“We like to say you can see everything from a pair of scissors to a multi head embroidery machine or a screen printing carousel and everything in between! adds Tony.
“The fact that 70% of the space for 2011 was reserved immediately after this year’s show is an extremely healthy sign. Interestingly, we we are also getting renewed interest for 2011 from garment manufacturers.”
