RUSSELL
Classic sportswear at the heart of urban dressing
Published:  30 March, 2010

With its background in sportswear manufacture there is no better brand to turn to than Russell.

Our 575 is the classic hoodie with its set in sleeves and kangaroo pouch. The garment easily lends itself to decoration and is extremely popular with universities and youth clubs.

Our Original range is all about urban styling; it’s a capsule collection of heavy weight high cotton content sweats – cadet collar and hoodie, long and short sleeved T shirts and polo. The range is made from soft to touch sueded fabric and finished with velvet tape for an extra bit of luxury. The whole range is ideal for relabelling and embellishment with its high end retail feel.

When we first introduced jackets people thought we’d be releasing a copycat range of garments with the emphasis on the great outdoors. This could not have been further from the truth.

We recognise that the majority of our jackets will be worn in an urban work environment. That’s why we created styles like the 530; a lightweight wadded jacket that could be worn alone as a warmth layer, or combined with our contemporary styled technical 540 range.

Our 520 Sports Shell jacket makes a perfect transition from the track to the city’s pavements with its clean sporty lines. Using the ‘next generation’ of soft shell fabric the garment works in synergy with the wearer. The stretch fabric is cut close to the body not just because it looks good but to maximise the jacket's heat and moisture transfer properties. Not only is the 520 insulating and breathable it’s waterproof too!
