Now in its third year American Sportswear brand ALO utilises an array of technical and performance fabrics. Bamboo jersey blends bamboo lyocell and cotton spandex to create a lightweight, breathable jersey fabric. This fabric features naturally inherent properties that wick moisture and is naturally anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic and breathable with no added chemical treatments. Circle Knit Jacquard is one of the most common performance fabrications in Alo. Featuring CoolFit dry wicking capability which draws moisture away, keeping you cool and comfortable.
Technical health and fitness wear brand Coolactive is based on the Coolmax fibre. This unique fibre has a greater surface area than traditional polyester and actually has channels that run the length of the fibre drawing moisture away from the body and onto the surface of the garment where the wearers body heat causes it to evaporate. The initial range comprises both 100% Coolmax and 50% Coolmax/50% cotton blends across long and short sleeved T shirt styles, training tops and running vests. The new Result Spiro range for 2010 blends the latest high performance fabrics and cutting edge technology with designs that meet or exceed the rigorous requirements of the wearer under tough workout conditions. All Result Spiro garments are stylish, fit well and have been produced in two versions, one for men, another for women. The highly breathable fabric actively wicks away any perspiration vapour from the skin keeping you dry and comfortable, regulating your temperature as you work out. Styles include sprint pants, sprint tops and race jackets.
