Quadra, the specialist supplier of corporate and promotional carrying solutions, has launched the new QD74 Universal Holdall, which the brand is recommending as the perfect ‘carry it all’ bag for school.
Quadra’s Schools Essentials range has been earning school wear suppliers valuable add-on sales for over a decade. The book bags, gymsacs, shoe bags and backpacks, in durable nylon and polyester fabrics, continue to score top marks in today’s market on account of their high quality manufacture, well-considered features, decorator-friendly design and value for money pricing. The QD74 offers the same range of benefits in a compact, up-to-date design that offers maximum scope for decoration.
The bag measures 50 x 28 x 28 cm and has a capacity of 35-litres. It is large enough for schoolbooks, PE kit and lunch boxes, yet remains easily manageable for even younger children.
A detachable adjustable webbing shoulder strap with pad allows the bag to be carried in comfort, and a zippered end pocket, front pocket and main compartment allow easy organisation of the bag’s contents. However, the main selling point of the QD74, as far as Quadra is concerned, is the bag’s decoration potential.
“The QD74 is all about ‘location, location, location’,” says Quadra’s Iain Lamb. “We started out with the intention of designing a bag that was not only practical, functional and modern-looking, but one that maximised the branding options. We’re confident that the finished product achieves all of those aims.”
The QD74 accepts print, transfers, embroidery and most other textile decoration methods in three locations. It will accommodate a maximum print size of 24 x 18 cm (size 18 embroidery hoop) on the top; 32 x 12 cm (size 12 embroidery hoop) on the front pocket; and 19 x 19 cm (size 15 embroidery hoop) on the end pocket.
Decoration access is straightforward and the bag’s 600D polyester fabric has been thoroughly tested for compatibility with all the appropriate printing inks and transfer products from the leading industry suppliers.
Available in a choice of seven popular school colours – black, bottle green, bright royal, burgundy, classic red, French navy and graphite grey, the QD74 is completed by protective base feet and Quadra-branded zip pulls for a typically high quality finish.
For 2010, Quadra has also added new colour, classic pink to its popular QD17 Gymsac. The bag is now offered in a total of 11 colours. Made from 210D Polyester, the QD17 is water-resistant, features twin self-colour draw cords, measures 40 x 31 cm and has a capacity of seven litres.
