BTC ACTIVEWEAR
Even greater choice from 44 top brands
Published:  22 January, 2010

BTC activewear has grown their offering by a quarter for 2010 with 44 market leading brands on offer.

As Russell Europe’s latest approved distributor, they have expanded their ranges of Jerzees Colours, Jerzees Schoolgear, Russell Collection and Russell Workwear. The 140 Jerzees Schoolgear Soft Shell Jacket offers a stylish alternative to the traditional school jacket but not at the expense of performance, being windproof, water resistant and washable to 40C.

Their Magnificent Seven Workwear brands – CAT, DeWalt, Dickies, Helly Hansen, Mascot, Panoply and Snickers, have grown their ranges for 2010. Mascot are offering a range of simple quality workwear with triple stitched seams and hard wearing fabrics under their MacMichael by Mascot brand. The classic Peru Work Jacket features waist, collar and adjustable cuffs in a stylish contrast colour.

BTC activewear has always had probably the best selection of outerwear but have significantly increased the choice from Result, Regatta and Stormtech. Result has introduced Airdown – 3 inflatable styles of jacket that will operate in extreme temperatures down to -20C, including the R165X Core Inflatable Gilet.

Exclusive to BTC activewear is Fanshirt who for 2010 have introduced a number of new styles including Candy, a longer length, super soft touch, single jersey T shirt tailored for a retail look.

New brand Cooltex joins Mascot and Gamegear in offering a wide range of moisture-wicking base layer systems. Popular for workwear and sportswear, Mascot’s range includes the Parada Undershirt, which is produced using bamboo charcoal, making it anti-bacterial, anti-static, insulating and fast drying. Likewise ThermoCool from Coolactive is designed to optimise the body’s natural thermoregulation capabilities through smart-fibre cross-section.

Their Bag offering has also grown, with an expanded range from Shugon, joined for the first time with ranges from Regatta and Nike Golf. Regatta is offering six backpacks including the TRB028 Easypack Packaway 25L, available in four colours. Nike Golf has a selection of bags including the Club Accessories Bag – a unique, reversible small item bag which stores easy-to-lose small items that all golfers need and is ideal for decoration.

BTC activewear have expanded their footwear offering from Dickies for 2010 and have also included a concise range from Regatta. The Dickies Super Safety Texan Rigger Boot has steel toe caps and midsole for maximum protection and features a sympatex waterproof membrane.

BTC activewear has added an additional tab in their 2010 catalogue for Vinyls & Transfers, with expanded ranges from Xpres, Target and Lewis Print. GemTec from Xpres, is an amazing new process designed to produce stunning visual effects by applying rhinestones to textiles, that is both cost effective and versatile.

While the BTC activewear offering has grown considerably, they have launched a ground-breaking solution to keeping the size (and more importantly for mailing, the weight) of their end-user catalogue to a minimum. CataLite is a lighter, greener (saving over 150 tons of paper!), less expensive catalogue that still features their complete 2010 collection.
