PenCarrie has added over 250 new products and five new brands to its portfolio for 2010. Dunlop Workwear and Lee Cooper Workwear now complement other quality brands in PenCarrie’s workwear range. Newly available too is high specification, high performing rugby kit from KooGa, whose clothing professional players favour. A new range of outdoor clothing for travel and adventure comes from Craghoppers, with all styles made from technical fabrics designed to withstand tough weather conditions. The fifth and final new brand, Lewis Print, specialises in bespoke transfers. These include bespoke sports numbers (to add to sports shirts) as well as British standard reflective transfers (to add to high-viz garments, for example).
Existing brands have also introduced new products that offer something extra for 2010. For example, amongst new designs from Fruit of the Loom there are value tees made from Belcoro yarn, said to have a softer feel and to take print much better. New from Jerzees Colours are four polo shirts made from extra soft Pima cotton. Pima cotton has a luxurious feel and drape and wears extremely well; its production is limited and this adds exclusivity, something decorators can capitalise on. Hanes, building on the success of their Tagless collection, has introduced five Tagless sports tops, plus new Tagless tees for men and women including some made from organic cotton. Skinnifit, Skinnifitmen and Skinni Minni have added 11 new styles, including track pants for adults and for children; and a tank dress within the Modern Essentials range.
Sportswear brands stocked by PenCarrie including Tombo Teamwear, Finden & Hales, Glenmuir, Slazenger, Kariban Sport, Kustom Kit Gamegear and Formula Racing, Canterbury and adidas, have all added to their collections. “These are all high performing brands that sell well. The new styles from each of the brands complement their existing ranges and are destined to do well too,” comments Andrea Charteris, PenCarrie’s customer services manager.
In corporatewear and hospitality wear the key brands of Premier, Kustom Kit, Kustom Kit Bargear and Henbury now offer extra options. Henbury, for example, have new lighter weight knits for men and women; and Coolplus wicking polyester polos. (Henbury has also added to its leisurewear collection.)
PenCarrie’s already impressive technical outerwear collection is swelled further by designs from Result, Stormtech and Regatta. Further additions to PenCarrie’s industrial footwear collection come from Dickie’s and Progressive Safety.
New bags for 2010 are from Bagbase, Quadra, Westford Mill and Regatta. Regatta has an entirely new range of backpacks and a boot bag.
Headwear sees lots of innovation by Beechfield and PenCarrie is stocking all 18 new designs from the brand.
