Published:  22 January, 2010

TheMagicTouch transfer process just gets better and continues to be affordable for all to enjoy and benefit from. The market is changing, as indeed are attitudes and perception towards transfer technology, with a realisation the process assists in creating new business and marketing opportunity.

TheMagicTouch offer professional solutions that are easy to incorporate into an existing business combined with low entry-level investment requirement.

New innovations for 2010 will include the introduction of A3 WoW transfer paper for full colour imaging onto most garments and fabrics regardless of colour or composition.

The advantage of no cutting or weeding remains of massive market appeal. Also introduced will be the WoW Vintage Film, enabling the user to create aged, retro or vintage effect designs from WoW transfers. This simple application is achieved using a distressed adhesive pattern on a PET film pressed onto the WoW transfer for about five seconds.

The company also introduces a unique solution for “crystal effect” in garment decoration using “free” font designs from the website. The effect is stunning and enables the user to produce multi-colour, multi-layer crystal effects quickly and cost effectively.

2010 will also see a new revolutionary solution for the printing of binders and book covers using the CPM (non textile) transfer paper. The print process offers a massive opportunity for the personalisation and short run production of a multitude of board based products in full colour.

The company also offer support in what is considered the perfect solution for all sublimation requirements with the introduction of the new Ricoh “Gel” printers using the SubliJet inks from Sawgrass.

Gone are the days of ink blockages and slow production, the new printer brings a truly professional image to the process and gives the market a much needed confidence boost in regard to reliability.

Also available are new additional garment vinyls giving the company the most comprehensive range of over 150 different colour and effect options for use in plotter/cutters.

Finally, January will also see the introduction of “Soldark” a printable PU material for Print & Cut applications. This has been developed for use with solvent and eco-solvent printers such as Mimaki and Roland. This unique product offers the best in colour management and durability combined with a very competitive pricing structure for those involved in this growing market.
