Heat transfer that's breathable
Published:  03 November, 2009

The rise in use of synthetic materials in the garment industry has been inexorable. And with the abundance of sportswear and cross-over garments in the market place, a means of marking was being called for by customers.

The traditional method of dye-sublimation required expensive inks and machinery, the overall quality was poor and was not economically viable for smaller users and production runs.

A transfer paper was developed that suited these garments and enabled low volume marking. EZ106 JET PRO®Active WearTM is a heat transfer that is breathable, specially formulated for performance fabrics including: those which wick moisture away from the body, Lycra, Under Armor and Spandex to name but a few.

The polymers within EZ 106 JET PRO®Active WearTM that provides the cross linking to the fibers has an affinity for synthetic fibers. This gives it the superior stretch and breathability that is sought in the performance fabric market.

Prestige Leisure sell a wide range of Sportswear garments from trusted brands such as Tombo, Finden+Hales, Gamegear and Kariban, and after using EZ106 JET PRO® Active Wear on several items provided this feedback: "It performs very well with super wash-ability on synthetic fibers. Now customers are able to apply heat transfer vivid graphics to jerseys, bicycle wear and team clothing - another first from the EZTrans stable".

All of our products designed for fabrics, including EZ201 TECHNI-PRINT®4.0 can be applied to synthetics and will adhere and wash very well but are not breathable like EZ106 JET PRO® Active Wear.
