Fruit of the Loom reports growing sales of its Baseball teamwear styles within the corporate clothing market.
"Increasingly, our teamwear styles are being used for corporate sports teams and events, staff team building programmes, as well as for more general corporate and hospitalitywear," says Alison McKenzie, brand director. "Their sporty design taps into the enduring popularity of sports-themed apparel on the high street, and appears to help foster that all important team spirit within staff groups."
The Baseball Ts are inspired by the classic US college sports shirt. Made in 100% cotton Valueweight fabric, (160/165 gm/m2) they feature a colour-matched neckline in 1 x 1 rib with Lycra. The Long Sleeve Baseball T is available in six contrast colourways; the Short Sleeve Baseball T is available in eight. New colourway, white royal blue, has been added to the colour palette.
The Baseball Ts are complemented perfectly by the Baseball Hooded Sweat, available in four colours, three of which are also offered in both T-shirts styles: steel blue/deep navy, brick red/deep navy and white/black. The hoodie also comes in zinc/light graphite for the more fashion-focused customer.
The Baseball Hooded Sweat is made in 70% cotton/30% polyester (260/280 gm/m2) featuring 100% cotton facing, and is finished with cover-stitching to the sleeves, a double fabric hood with contrast colour draw cord, and a traditional front pouch pocket.
