Accessories, including bags and caps, which have been designed to co-ordinate with the teamwear are available from BagBase and Beechfield and this year Finden+Hales introduced its own set of accessories to match its team clothing.

"We expect Olympic fever to start building in 2010, putting an even stronger focus on all the positive aspects of team sports," comments Andrea Charteris, PenCarrie's customer services manager.

One of the many success stories for 2009 comes from Tombo Teamwear. Although sold separately, its TL50 Teamwear Super Light Training Top and TL51 Teamwear Zipped Leg Super Light Training Pants together make a tracksuit that is ideal for all seasons.

The super lightweight polyester microfibre fabric minimises friction and maximises performance; it is also windproof and showerproof; and reflective piping on both garments gives good visibility when training in poor light on dark winter mornings and evenings. Reflective piping has also been added to a number of other Tombo Teamwear styles, including the TL62 Sleeveless Performance Sports Top, which has mesh panelling at side panels and top back for good breathability. Tombo Teamwear also has a range of performance tops made from a special IQ moisture management fabric. TL63 Performance Sports T shirt and TL64 Performance Polo Shirt are men's styles; for women there is also a Performance Sports T shirt (coded TL66) and the TL68 Ladies Performance Polo Shirt.

Kustom Kit Gamegear also recognises the importance of keeping players cool and comfortable during exertion. New styles include sports shorts, a sleeveless sports top and a sports T shirt made from moisture wicking fabric Cooltex.

Coded K981, K982 and K983 respectively, they all come in a choice of four mix and match colourways.

Kustom Kit Gamegear has also added to its Formula Racing® clothing collection.

New styles from Finden+Hales are Team Soft Shell Jackets. LV620 is for men and LV621 is for women. Breathable, warm and water resistant these jackets are ideal for wearing before and after training or for matches. Another style, both distinctive and appealing, is the LV380 Chequered Flag Polo Shirt, which has a jacquard pattern on the collar and cuffs and solid colour contrast on the inner placket.

Accessories include the LV980 Team Cap and LV986 Team Holdall.
