Soft shell technology is now widely accepted in the outerwear marketplace due to its waterproof characteristics and smart look. The soft, high stretch fabric gives a comfortable wear, whilst the technology offers water resistance and wind proofing.

One such garment is the R121A from Result. The 7% elastane content in the fabric allows the garment to move with the wearer in physical activity, allowing for superb functionality. Premier offer a different element to their jackets, with technology that customers can recognise from retail garments. The PR813 Soft shell jacket utilises Polartec Windbloc, featuring single layer protection against wind and rain.

The PR820 outerwear Glencoe two layer jacket utilises Gore-tex technology commonly found in outdoor pursuit clothing, making it 100% waterproof, windproof and highly breathable.
