"Teamwear is now a category of sportswear in its own right," comments Andrea Charteris, customer services manager.

PenCarrie offers teamwear for men, women and youngsters from specialist brands Tombo, Kustom Kit Gamegear and Finden & Hales. 

All provide a broad selection of styles in a choice of co-ordinating colourways so that teams can create their own individual look. Accessories include sports bags and caps, which provide valuable add-on sales as well as completing a team's kit. 

Specialist bag manufacturer BagBase, whose range is also stocked by PenCarrie, has produced a range of sports bags that co-ordinate readily with various teamwear collections; while sportswear brand Finden+Hales has brought out its own range of teamwear accessories including caps and bags to match its own teamwear range.

Finden+Hales has extended its teamwear clothing range too, adding the LV620 Team Soft Shell Jacket for men plus a ladies' equivalent, LV621. Ideal for wearing before and after exertion, the jackets are breathable, warm and water resistant. 

Funnel neck collars, tab adjusted cuffs and zipped welt chest pockets are amongst many practical and stylish details on both garments. 

New from Tombo are the TL50 Teamwear Super Light Training Top and TL51 Pants. Sold separately, they combine to make a tracksuit.  The super light fabric minimises friction and maximises performance. The full length side zips on the bottoms and reflective piping on both garments, all add value. 

PenCarrie also highlights teamwear made from Tombo's specially developed IQ moisture management fabric, which was introduced in 2008 for selected styles and now has a committed following. 

Styles made from IQ fabric include the TL63 Tombo Teamwear Performance Sports T-Shirt (available in six colourways) as well as the TL66 ladies' equivalent.

New performance sportswear from Kustom Kit Gamegear includes three styles made from a textured moisture wicking fabric known asCooltex. All come in a choice of four mix and match colourways. 

Colour is used for the contrast stripes on the K981 Cooltex Sports Shorts and for the inserts at shoulders and side seams and also for the binding around the inner front neck of the K983 Cooltex Sports T-Shirt. These flashes of colour are echoed on the K982 Cooltex Sleeveless Sports Top which looks equally distinctive.
