Premier claims to not only be one of the first brands in this market to have developed soft shell technology, but says it has been able to create superior products because of partnerships with suppliers of the Polartec® and GORE® fabrics.

The first soft shell with Polartec® and Windbloc® combines the warmth of Polartec® fleece with a barrier layer that allows water vapour to escape. The jacket also contains spandex to allow it to stretch, moving with the body. Adding stretch is an important quality, as soft shell jackets that don’t contain stretch can feel stiff and uncomfortable to wear.

The second, using GORE® WINDSTOPPER® has a tough ripstop nylon outer layer that is abrasion resistant, making it look better and last longer than other jackets, says Premier. This jacket has a thermoregulating effect, meaning that the jacket manages your own personal microclimate keeping the temperature around your body at a comfortable level.

Both jackets are highly breathable, lightweight and water resistant. They carry either the WINDSTOPPER® or Windbloc® logo for dual branding possibilities so that your customers can be associated with these well known brands.

These jackets are very attractive to walkers, outdoor adventurers, golfers and skiers all of whom will already be aware of both the Polartec® and GORE® fabric brands. The jackets are ideal for screen printers and embroiderers and can be treated by them as a normal polyester jacket.
