Following a £750,000 warehouse extension project, United Brands of Scandinavia is now stocking four new brands. New Wave, Clique, Texas Bull and Airak have joined existing brands James Harvest, Craft Sportswear, Harvest Golf, Harvest Printer, ProJob Workwear, Sagaform, DAD Sportswear, Cottover toweling, Orrefors and Kosta Boda crystal.
Work has been just completed on the warehouse extension project at the United Brands of Scandinavia facility in Hirwaun, South Wales, which is owned by the New Wave Group.
Torsten Jansson, New Wave Group chief executive, said: “The investment demonstrates the group’s commitment to the UK market, particularly in the clothing category.
“The New Wave and Clique brands are well known in the UK as are the James Harvest brands. Putting them together under one roof simplifies our logistics and, importantly, makes it easier for all of our customers to purchase any of our clothing ranges – one phone call is all it takes to order all your clothing requirements, with one delivery and one invoice.”
The move completes the first phase of a substantial investment into the UK from the Swedish New Wave Group.
United Brands started trading in late 2005 and has since grown its stable of group owned brands into the UK promotional, corporate and workwear markets.
It offers a one-stop service to the trade, with no minimum order and next day delivery via UPS to most UK mainland addresses.
A UK-specific brochure will be available shortly in priced and un-priced versions, as well as a dedicated website with customer specific web hosting facilities.
