Toyota has launched the ESP9100Net machines. These six and 15 colour embroidery machines are an upgrade to the highly successful ESP9000 machine range with new electronics, new motors, new accessories and new production control software.
New electronics include a bigger memory, more control from the operator’s panel including editing of the design on the machine, tracing either the outer four points or the profile of the design shape. Also the interface has been upgraded to serial, USB and LAN. Data can be transmitted direct from a PC, a memory stick or disk reader, whilst the LAN port allows wireless connection using the Expert Stitch Manager software to an unlimited number of machines.
New accessories include a position marker, this indicates the needle penetration point making alignment very easy, and when the ESP9100Net is embroidering the marker light turns off. The beam sensor improves the safety aspect, this works whilst the machine is embroidering, if you place your hand near the needles the machine will stop. Toyota has added a sequin device to the ESP9100Net, this will operate on a wide range of sequin sizes and adds to the decorative effects that can be achieved. Also introduced is the Auto clamp, this replaces the need to use hoops and is capable of holding thicker materials or items that must not have a hoop blister.
The company says that all the motors are now pulse stepping motors for greater accuracy and quieter operating noise with less vibration.
