Ink specialist the Lancer Group has launched a new ink and a software update.
The new ink series is specifically designed for printing on to sport uniforms and jerseys. Lancer says that its new Excalibur SportPRO 1550 Series is ideal for synthetic sport fabrics such as polyester and blended fabrics.
It has a very high opacity, a maximum bleed resistance and also has a very soft hand feel as well as very high stretch. The finish of the ink is matte, which is very popular with today’s sports jerseys. SportPRO Athletic Inks will be available in standard, opaque spot colours as well as a colour matching system.
New software updates and upgrades for its popular color matching software, Colormate PRO have also been introduced. These updates include some minor bug fixes and also some upgrades that will enhance the performance of the software overall. The 2006 updates also include the addition of 146 brand new Pantone colours for both the ColorPRO and PCPRO Color Matching Systems. These new colors feature many of the popular Pantone colours that are used in today’s screen-printing industry.
