A garment costing matrix is the latest piece of software from transfer specialists Victory Design.

Named the easiQUOTE matrix, the software has been especially designed for the garment decorator and sportswear manufacturer, or in fact any business that specialises in applying heat activated films onto garments or accessories.

It’s primary function is to cost-up garment decoration jobs in a matter of seconds while providing a breakdown of all costs involved - labour, time, cost per badge or decoration and the cost of material. The cost of each transfer and the complete cost of a finished, decorated garment can also be calculated using easiQUOTE matrix – thus allowing you to accurately price up your jobs in seconds and give accurate pricing to your customer.

The matrix will also save you time and money, as you can use it to quote customers whilst they are on the phone, so reduce waiting time and get approvals on orders in a very quick time, provided that your customers are ready to approve their order in such a short time!

To get started with the matrix is very straightforward. All you need to do is simply input your badge, logo or crest dimensions into the easiQUOTE matrix, select your material width and input the number of badges and colours required.

To ensure that you have enough garments for your order, the matrix will tell you how much material is required for each job. You begin by inputting the dimensions of the badge and the spacing required between each badge and then select the material width.

The next step is to input the number of badges required, which will then calculate the length and orientation of the material. You then input the costs of the material and garments and an estimate on how long the job will take to complete, which will produce the costings for the garments, film and labour.

Any brand of garment film can be used with the software, including Victory Design’s popular easiMARK range. This heat applied vinyl range has now expanded into various different sectors, including a flock version, a version that is ideal for applying to nylon and one for sport and workwear that can be washed at high temperatures. The easiMARK range can also be cut and stacked without the adhesive damaging the other transfers.

A new option has also been introduced with the launch of easiMARK Opaque, which is suitable for dry cleaning, tumble drying and ironing. It is a soft, high quality heat sealable matt film with excellent weeding properties for fine detailed work.

The easiQUOTE matrix CD-ROM comes complete with added extras such as helpful downloads including garment film swatches, technical hints and tips, information on how to make extra profit for your business by using the Victory Design transfer print trade service. To ensure that you are kept up to date, the company emails software updates to customers direct.

The Matrix also contains other useful information including colour swatches, technical hints and tips and other product information.
