Just about every sport is catered for with garments designed and made to professional player standard. Both Slazenger and Tombo have each introduced a new tracksuit this year, Slazenger’s SL93 Tracksuit comes in black with beige contrast mesh panels down the side of the jacket and twin beige contrast mesh stripes down the legs.

Tombo’s latest tracksuit TL43 is for the ladies and has a mesh lining and a number of other important details such as mesh underarm panels. Tombo has a number of tops to go with this, including the new TL67 Ladies Performance Sports Top, which has mesh inserts.

Finden & Hales is another brand that PenCarrie find is much sought after, with a range that includes general sportswear as well as the formal cricket wear for which it is particularly well known. The company has developed its own specialist fabric, Aridus. This allows moisture to pass through to the garment’s outer surface, thus keeping players cool under pressure.

New styles for 2006 that feature this fabric include the LV730 Aridus Shorts and LV702 Aridus Team T-shirt, which are proving popular with running teams and with gyms.
