Following an introduction at this year’s Printwear & Promotion exhibition, Optimum Sportswear is now among the select brands offering specialised Teamwear.
Developed by former rugby league star Peter Moran, who played in the second row during the 1990’s for Wigan and Leigh, the company originally started by producing protective clothing for sale in sports retail stores.
While on a sourcing mission 18 months ago, Peter bought a tracksuit that he did not consider purposeful upon his return – until a customer asked for one and the sample was supplied, with very impressed results.
The range has now been expanded to include rugby shirts, tracksuits and windbreakers, as well as a range of accessories. These come in a range of sizes and colours, for further information and brochures contact the company.
Optimum also offers bespoke clothing with a 30 piece minimum in a 4-6 week turnaround time. Decoration is also offered, with no charge made for set-ups. Peter said, ‘I’m finding a lot of people do bespoke clothing but not many people do low volume runs. When you are dealing with major customers, you can’t get things wrong with them if you want repeat business.’
