BTC activewear has expanded its purchasing team with the appointment of Andy Neale as buyer for its 60,000 sq ft, Midlands based, National Distribution Centre.
Following five years as a motor vehicle technician, Andy 'cut his teeth' in the imprint industry during a three year period working alongside his father in a garment supply business. This was followed by fifteen years service with a major distributor where he held a number of warehouse and procurement positions leading to overall responsibility for the buying team.Commenting on his appointment, Andy said, 'I am delighted to have joined BTC activewear, it is a highly professional, progressive thinking company and I look forward with a great deal of excitement to the future. It's great to be working with such hardworking and committed people.'
BTC activewear Director Charles Grose remarked, 'I am very pleased to be able to welcome Andy to the purchasing team. His extensive industry knowledge coupled with experience in warehouse management will help improve our stock management systems and benefit customers right the way across our five regional sales offices.'
