Garment distributor and importer Absolute Apparel has increased its distribution and warehousing facility to hold up to two million pieces at any time.
Following the successful launch of the company in October 2005, where the initial Absolute Apparel line was introduced, the range was further increased with Gildan, Proforce and Fruit of the Loom ranges. Managing Director Frank Jheinga now anticipates that more styles will be introduced during 2006.
Frank said, ‘The primary focus of the expansion is to add new styles to widen the Absolute Apparel range. Essentially we’ve broken the mould by creating essential garments at the right price points without any compromise on quality. In fact we feel the quality of each garment is the best in it's category.'
Up until the expansion, the company was able to hold one million pieces in stock and the projection to double this capacity has been a major factor of the company’s expansion so far. Frank said, ‘In five months we’ve doubled our capacity and doubled our stock holding, and we can still take orders up to 5pm! Over the next year we want to double it again and break the 5.30 barrier successfully.‘
Absolute Apparel has also recently launched its 2006 brochure that features full colour photography and full details on the available range.
