Unquestionably there has been a rise throughout the UK in the number of golf courses promoting and catering for corporate tournaments and hospitality events.

With golf becoming the sixth highest participation sport for men and over two thousand golf courses attracting growing numbers from corporate membership and their guests, it is clear that this vibrant sector offers garment decorators considerable potential for growth.

Under an exclusive arrangement for the imprint market, BTC activewear represents a high quality range of fashionable and technically advanced golfing apparel from the Ping Collection. A brand synonymous with top quality golf equipment, Ping and BTC have developed a collection specifically aimed to capitalise on the popularity of its pro-shop products and open up new opportunities within the corporate golf market.

New additions to the Ping Collection include the 250gms Club polo shirt, a raglan sleeve style polo with tape detail to neck and split hem. Seven colour choices are offered, including fashionable pale pink, dawn blue, cayenne and lemon zest.

The distinctive stripe design of the Brassington polo is offered in sand and water colourways and provides an interesting contrast to the raglan sleeve style of the 210gms Maldon Tipped polo. The Ping logo is featured on the right sleeve and centre back yoke of all three shirts with the Brassington and Maldon polo’s exhibiting an additional brand logo to the placket.

As an alternative to the traditional polo shirt the Ping Collection now includes the Athy performance turtleneck. Made from 60/40 polyester/cotton to give the perfect blend of comfort and durability, the short sleeve turtleneck top features the Ping logo on its collar and right sleeve.

Every golfer’s wardrobe should contain at least one windshirt and an ideal choice is the new Club III short sleeve windshirt. Golfers prefer a short sleeve style as it prevents rainwater from running straight down the sleeves and compromising club grip. Made from 100% polyester microfibre, the Club III is lightweight and offers great durability. This wind resistant garment has the Ping logo embroidered on the right hand sleeve and centre back neck and is offered in four colourways - black, ink, cayenne and white.

First introduced two years ago, the 100% waterproof and breathable, Hyams technical rainsuit is expected to continue increasing in popularity. A contemporary looking two-piece, lightweight, low noise garment, the rainsuit features a full front zip, contrast colour to the shoulder panels with side piping detail and is available in black/grey or ink/grey.

For the cooler days BTC activewear features the Hankley crew neck sweater, made from 100% Woolmark Lambswool. The sweater has a Ping logo to the right sleeve and back neck bar. The Hankley is machine washable and will maintain its shape even after repeated laundering. Offered in black, ink, dawn blue and cayenne, and as with all Ping Collection garments are available in S-2XL sizes.

Also new from the Ping Collection comes the ‘one size fits all’, breathable, lightweight and quick drying Roon baseball cap that is offered in four colour options; navy, black, putty and cayenne. The Ping logo appears twice on the cap, to the back and left side, leaving the front and right hand side free for event insignia and logo decoration.
