Having entered 2006 with a refreshed new look, the Jerzees Schoolgear brand continues to recognise the need for quality, durability, cost-effectiveness and consistency, ensuring its popularity with schools, parents and children alike.
Understanding that everyone needs to trust that their chosen school uniform will deliver the quality they expect, wash after wash, term after term, the Jerzees Schoolgear Pledge offers a year-long guarantee on all its garments.
This includes a no quibble returns policy offering an exchange on any garment purchased within the current school year that doesn't meet performance expectations. The pledge also promises continuity of core school colours, ethical manufacturing as well as improved stock availability.
Providing a complete casualwear uniform solution, the already established range is regularly extended with new uniform garments in key school colours and styles. Last year saw the introduction of the 539BT tipped polo shirt and the 875B reversible jacket, specifically designed for the schools market.
The 539BT Tipped Polo Shirt, with its contrast collar detailing, is aimed at schools that require an alternative to formal shirts, but a smarter uniform appearance than standard polos. The inclusion of tipping on the collar allows schools to differentiate their uniforms from other schools, or identify different 'house' colours within schools, whilst also providing a smarter appearance. The tipping colours were purposefully chosen to complement the ever-popular 762 raglan sweatshirt, which is ideal for schools that wish to retain a 'uniform' element with or without sweatshirts.
Similarly, the 875B jacket comes in six school-appropriate colours - black, bottle green, classic red, bright royal, burgundy and french navy. It's the perfect complement to the tipped and plain polo shirts in the collection and as with all Jerzees Schoolgear garments, is the ideal base for decoration with poppers across the entire length of the bottom hem.
Sporting weatherproof 100% woven polyester on one side and the well proven outdoor fleece on the other, the 875B's good looks and wearability have taken the market by storm. The warming fleece, which boasts a cadet collar with concealed hood and a storm flap over the front zip, ensures kids will be cosy rather than chapped in the winter winds. Large pockets and elasticated cuffs offer additional comfort and the 875B's neat reflective strips on the polyester outer have proved particularly popular.
Commenting on the success of the garments to date, Stewart Gilmour from Gilmour Schoolwear said, 'We've been delighted with the response to Jerzees Schoolgear's tipped polo and reversible jacket. The style, quality, cost-effectiveness and practicality of the garments have made them hugely popular with the kids, schools and importantly, the parents.'
