The number of girls and women playing football has been increasing significantly in recent years.
Women’s Euro 2005 served to provide further impetus to both participation and also interest, but one very conspicuous void is about to be filled by Crest Teamwear.
Crest Teamwear has been providing sportswear for over ten years and its enthusiasm for grass roots football has already seen entry into sponsorship deals with the Co. Antrim FA in Northern Ireland.
Crest Teamwear is also the official kit suppliers to Scottish semi-finalists Gretna FC, and is to design and manufacture the club's new team kit and leisurewear for next season.
The latest venture sees a link up in a partnership deal with femaleSOCCER- the world's biggest online community for girls and women's football - to coincide with Crest bringing out a range of sportswear products especially designed to fit the female body. The kit will be available in sizes to fit girls from ten through to adulthood with each age group having small, medium and large sizes.
Crest Chairman Brian Quigley’s enthusiasm at his company branching out to incorporate women’s football was evident at the meeting with femaleSOCCER representative Laura Stevens who was suitably impressed.
Crest already offer quality team wear, designed and manufactured to the highest standards, with a wide range of kit designed and colour options which can be customised with club and club sponsor logo at an affordable price, which can also be ordered online.
