With new styles added to its already fashion-conscious range, Skinni Fit is among the leading brands making steps in urban lifestyle clothing, and told P&P about its styles for 2006.
People want to wear what makes them feel good, and that can be linked to what’s featuring on the high street in terms of fashion and style. The days of shapeless unisex clothing has been challenged by an altogether more focused, shapely and better-looking approach. This shift in awareness is not only limited to teenagers (or those with 28” waists), but can be seen across all ages and sizes - and by both men and women.
Skinnifit has rapidly become one of the favourite brands to offer modern and wearable clothing for men, women and kids. Together with Skinnifitmen, the brand has set out to provide a range of clothing for both women and men that reflect the best in modern style and are also incredibly easy to wear.
The brands have been at the forefront of the move towards revitalising the promotional marketplace, and are looking to continue their closeness to what’s available in retail and on the high street with a wider range of both styles and colours for 2006.
Skinnifit know exactly what today’s modern, style-conscious woman wants and have created a range just for her. Similarly, all Skinnifitmen garments have been designed with a close eye on what’s happening in retail.
The men’s Modern Essential T reflects the move towards a slimmer, though definitely not skin tight, shape in men’s clothing. This crew neck T contains elastane for comfort and to allow the garment to move and stretch with the wearer. The sleeve length is slightly shorter, the neck has narrower rib and the colour palette is very reflective of what’s ‘now’.
Style conscious men are becoming more aware of colour, shape and also fabric and the new men’s ribbed placket T (SfM018) looks sure to define the look for this year. With long sleeves, a deep button-through placket and fantastic 2x2 cotton rib fabric, it looks straight out of retail.
The growth in awareness of style within the promotional marketplace is set to soar, as customers become more demanding in terms of quality of fit and appearance.
Women have discovered that neither loose or skin-tight clothing flatter the female form, so all Skinnifit women’s clothing is cut to compliment and skim over the body. With most garments now available in four sizes (from size 8 to size 16/18), it’s easier than ever before to provide modern, desirable promotional garments.
One of the most noticeable aspects of retail is the colour palette. We all recognise the change in colours from season to season in the shops: summer is marked with brights and pastels, and winter with muted neutrals or autumnal tones. Indeed, one of the easiest ways to suggest modernity is by colour.
Skinnifitmen have seen great growth in olive and vintage red and are predicting a surge in demand for bright colours such as royal and red over the coming year. Skinnifit for Women now has 18 colours in its Modern Essential Crew T-shirt range – from baby pink and blues through a selection of bright colours (green, gold, red and royal) to the popular olives.
The bright colour palette can also be seen within modern sportswear and it too is playing an ever more important part within today’s style arena. Elements of traditional sportswear are popular within both retail and can be seen in both men’s and women’s magazines: from the weekly gossip magazines to monthly style journals.
Both Skinnifit and Skinnifitmen have introduced a Trackie Top to their ranges for 2006 in recognition of how important a part sportswear plays to current style. Made in 100% polyester tricot (as both the 70’s originals and also the major branded sportswear garments), it’s been fitted to offer a slimmer silhouette and is ideal for capturing the sporting and style-lead essence of 2006.
The sporting colour palette, recognisable predominantly from the football sector, is also strong for 2006. The Brazilian colours (gold/green) are featured on garments within both the men’s and women’s ranges including Skinnifitmen’s Trackie top and the women’ Stripe Shoulder T (SK15).
What better to promote your brand than to ensure a modern forward thinking approach reflective of what people actually want to wear?
