The company, who have now been established for more than 20 years, manufacture dryers from beginning to end at its base to stock designs and to bespoke requirements. Around 70 dryers are produced every year and since the beginning, Director Charlie Palmer estimates that around 1500 dryers have been produced.

Mr Palmer said, ‘We like to think that our dryers are the best around and require very little maintenance. We have only just started to replace dryers that we built in the early 1980’s.’

Panther manufacture small and medium sized dryers with 18 models available from stock. All are made from components sourced in the EU and all building and painting is done in-house.

The recent developments with opaque white ink did bode some problems for the company, but it found ways around the difficulty where the white was reflecting the heat. Although it has been a successful year, Mr Palmer explained that to meet demand the company was making a dryer a fortnight 20 years ago, now around two a week are completed!
