M&R has been granted U.S. Patent No. 6,913,171 for its Dual-Belt Textile Transport System.
Historically, automatic textile folders have had difficulty with textiles printed in high-density or gel inks, this has been especially true when printing appears on the backside of the item. Some heavily embroidered items have proven to be equally difficult to fold.
That has all changed with the introduction of M&R’s Dual-Belt Textile Transport System, which compresses garments between moving upper and lower belts during the transport process. Working together, the system’s dual belts produce the same high-quality results on these hard-to-fold products as those achieved on other garments.
The patented Dual-Belt Textile Transport System - standard equipment on Amscomatic’s K-840 and K-895 folders - sets a new standard in automatic textile folding by expanding the number of products that can be folded quickly and precisely.
