A new roadshow will be bringing all the elements of the garment decoration industry together next month (September). Six companies will be taking part in PEA6 – which stands for Print, Embroidery and Apparel.
Each of the companies are involved in different aspects of the business. Garment supply is represented by BTC activewear and Sharon Lee, embroidery and print is represented by Your Embroidery Services Ltd., the transfer market is represented by Target Transfers, Cad Cut and print by Grafityp UK and embroidery threads and accessories by Madeira.
The idea for the shows came not only from those taking part but also from their customers.
“By joining together,” said Glenn Hyams of BTC activewear, “we offer the visitor the chance to check out other allied products as well as the one in which they have a key interest.”
John Paul Burton, sales director of YES Ltd, said: “We have been involved in many road shows in the past but this is different and we are really proud to one of the instigators. This show will offer so much more than those of the past.”
Your Embroidery Services Ltd will be showing machines from SWF and DTG – two of the best known names in their respective industries of embroidery and direct to garment ink jet printing.
BTC activewear and Sharon Lee will be displaying the latest lines from their catalogues and Target Transfers will be showing custom printed heat transfers, Cad Cut materials, heat presses and vinyl cutters.
Grafityp UK, part of the International Grafityp Self-Adhesive Products Group, have served the Cad Cut and print markets since 1991 and will have examples from their massive range on display.
Finally, Madeira UK will be showing examples from the largest thread catalogue available to today’s garment decorator.
The idea of any show is not only to showcase products and services but also to give visitors personal access to a level of expertise that they may otherwise only be able to use via the telephone.
The show will be visiting Leeds, Dublin, Belfast, West Bromwich, Newcastle, Scotland, Ipswich, The Home Counties and Bristol with the first one, in Leeds, scheduled for Sunday, September 19.
