Multi-brand distributor PenCarrie has expanded its business development team yet again with the appointment of Alison Clarke to provide support to customers in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
By visiting customers on a regular basis she aims to learn exactly what is needed in terms of the products, delivery performance, marketing support and any other services PenCarrie can provide – and to feed this information back to PenCarrie’s sourcing, marketing, warehouse and customer services teams for action.
Alison spent some time in December working closely with Graham Burgess, PenCarrie’s business development team manager, and assumed full responsibility for her new role in January.
Alison has extensive experience in business-to-business selling and territory management in Ireland and also in mainland Europe. In Ireland, previous experience gained with Bemrose Promotional and Incentive Products and also with Corporate Wardrobe Business Clothing is particularly relevant to her new position with PenCarrie.
PenCarrie’s business development team was first established in early 2007 and has steadily grown under the leadership of Graham Burgess. Today, there are six members of the team covering the whole of the UK and now, with the appointment of Alison Clarke, all of Ireland too.
PenCarrie has also appointed Lisa Davies to the business development team, to cover for Louise Coombes while she is on maternity leave.
Lisa will provide continuity to PenCarrie’s customers in the South East of England, Louise’s area of responsibility. Lisa has extensive experience in sales and marketing, visiting clients on site to build strong relationships and to ensure that the highest levels of service are maintained.
