Target Transfers have kept up a steady stream of new products and services for the garment decoration industry during 2009, with more products and services planned for 2010.
Last year, the company's website introduced free artwork templates, print and cut patterns, marketing tips, and an Excel calculator to ensure that costing and pricing for their jobs can be accurately produced. And last summer, Target also introduced a new scheme enabling customers to hire heat presses or vinyl cutters to help overcome some of the financial difficulties created by the downturn.
These services are still available and can be explored in detail by visiting the website.
Target also commenced offered a “business in a box”, putting together a series of package deals which provided all that is needed to start up a new business – from the small budget start up to the full professional kit. And, according to Target, there has been no shortage of takers.
A spokesman said: "It is also now possible to order blank garments, and other imprintable items, so that customers can purchase all their imprinting needs from one source and make savings as a result. Target is now also able to supply custom print customers with their requirements from concept to completion."
Among the most popular new products is the Hotronix Maxx Heat Press range.
Claimed as one of the most costeffective presses, it is available in four platen sizes, and features digital time and temperature read outs. Fully CE compliant, it became the best selling machine in 2009 from the Hotronix range.
Target also introduced the Craft Robo vinyl cutter and a range of textile vinyl sheets in A4 size specifically to cater to the Robo users. Mimaki Print & Cut machines were also introduced early in the year and have been a big hit. Plans for 2010 include new textile vinyls, print and cut materials, and developments in the various machine markets.
Target will also be launching a new custom print service designed for all customers whether ordering 1 or 1,000,000 pieces.
