Coolactive the performance leisurewear brand has introduced Thermocool technology into its 2010 collection.
Thermocool is a multi-functional and ecological evolution born from Advansa’s technological experiences of modified cross section fibres and is being used by the likes of Asics in the performance sportswear market.
When the user is hot and perspiring, the fabric provides evaporative cooling, keeping the user cool and comfortable. When the user is cold, the fabric reduces the exposure impact with external temperatures, keeping the user warm and thermo regulated.
“The technical qualities of the Thermocool fabrics ensure that Coolactive products keep the brand at the forefront of fabric technology. In tests performed by ADVANSA the wicking properties were shown to perform 48% better than other performance fabrics and 53% better on evaporative cooling,” says Coolactives’ John Oldfield.
“Our collection which includes men's and women's performance tees, vests, sweats, pants and base layer product offers premium technology at competitive prices.”
Coolactive stockists include UKL Ltd and BTC activewear.
