Blue Max Group is to expand its offering in the protective workwear arena by forging a relationship with DeWalt, the worldwide leader in the production of industrial power machinery, tools and high performance workwear.
Trowbridge-based Blue Max now has the rights to distribute selected lines of De Walt Protective Workwear. The collection will appear in Blue Max's 2010 brochure.
The DeWalt range has been warmly welcomed by the Blue Max Group. "Blue Max has a solid reputation in the schoolwear and leisurewear sectors but for 2010 we really want to drive the workwear area of our business," says sales director, Jeremy Aston-Phillips.
"We believe that the addition of the DeWalt collection, with its associated impeccable brand values, will not only complement our existing portfolio but will really help to consolidate our position on the workwear map."
A spokesperson for DeWalt said: "We looked closely at the industry and identified Blue Max as a company that most closely reflects our business values in terms of quality and customer service."
The DeWalt collection has been designed with protection at the fore. All products are durable but comfortable to wear, easy to put on and allow freedom of movement.
For 2010, Blue Max will offer the signature Site Jacket in black, a hooded full-zip sweatshirt, a Gore-Tex jacket and interactive thermo-fleece jacket, PWS (Performance Wicking System) polo shirt, and T shirt and two designs of multi pocket trousers.
Accessories include protective boots, eyewear, gloves, hats, belts, knee-pads and work socks.
