Coolactive has launched Thermocool, a new performance fabric which can be used for a wide range of garments, from polos and T shirts to base layers.
Coolactive, which has previously been using the performance fabric Coolmax, will now be using Thermocool as its main fabric.
Thermocool has come about as a result of ADVANSA's technological experiences of modified cross section fibres and is a cross between Coolmax and Thermolite which works with your body temperature.
This product can be worn in any permeation from workwear to sports wear and anything in between.
The fabric's hybrid fibre mix offers dual functionality. When the user is hot, the fabric provides evaporative cooling to keep the user cool and comfortable. When the user is cold, the fabric reduces the exposure impact with external temperatures, keeping the user warm and thermo-regulated.
Themocool is being used by brands such as Asics and F1.
