Daiber presents new collection at PSI Paris
Published:  25 October, 2005

Cap, promotional item and textile specialist Gustav Daiber presented the topical collection 2006 at the 7th PSI in Paris.

The latest Daiber, James & Nicholson and myrtle beach trends attracted a lot of visitors to the well-attended trade fair. The visitors were impressed by the numerous Daiber novelties with James & Nicholson alone offering 44 new products.

‘Customers do not only want a simple T-Shirt as a promotional item, they demand individual products’ said company owner Rolf Daiber. ‘To meet these demands, we pick up topical fashion trends and experiment with new fabrics.’

A fashionable course is set for example by contrasting colour variations in the new James & Nicholson collection. Two innovative and comfortable products are the Function-T (JN 23) and Function Polo (JN 24) T-Shirts, made of high-functional Cool Dry material. Breathable 5-channel-material guarantees the best transport of moisture to the exterior and the skin stays dry.

Daiber’s Fleece Partner Mittens (7770) for couples from the new autumn/winter collection 2006 attracted special interest as the wearer slips inside by two sides and holding hands in the warmth. The mittens, with two sleevebands and borders, are made of 100% anti-pilling fleece and are available in black, red, navy and off-white.

Another popular product was Daiber’s Thermo Cap with ear flaps (7512). The padding and fleece lining make it a very warming Cap and to protect from low temperatures, the front part can be turned down and the ear flaps can be fixed with a clip fastener under the chin. The stylish and fashionable Cap is available in turquoise and green as well as in classic black and red.

Finally, the trade fair visitors experienced Daiber’s textile embroidery know-how. The textile manufacturer presented an ironing press to demonstrate the production of a transfer print. A lot of visitors had the opportunity to choose their favourite flag from 40 plastisol transfers which were directly ironed on so that they received their personal trade fair souvenir.
