Your Embroidery Services Ltd, UK and Ireland distributors of Robison Anton embroidery threads, has confirmed that its U S supplier has recently been acquired by the American sewing thread manufacturer American & Efird, better known in the UK as A&E.
It has been announced that Robison Anton will be run as a separate division of A&E, maintaining the same emphasis on quality and supply as in the past.
American & Efird may not be too well known to UK embroiderers even though it has kept a small presence over the past few years, but the acquisition of Robison Anton will give it strength in the market whilst giving the brand the support of a multi-million dollar international organisation.
YES Ltd is keen to stress that it will carry on as normal and continue with the supply to all Robison Anton thread users. Normal stock levels will be maintained ensuring the smooth supply of product to embroiderers as in the past.
A spokesman for YES Ltd said, ‘This news came as a surprise to us although it is obvious to see the benefits. We have a good customer base in the UK market which we will be continuing to serve and maintain stocks. We take great care to service our customers, an area that we will continue to concentrate on. Our customers are our main concern and we will do everything we can to ensure the continued supply of quality embroidery products to them.’
