Changes in The Regatta Group

In a bid to illustrate his commitment to developing his group of brands, Keith Black has promoted Graham Rickard to managing director of Dare 2b, with immediate effect. Jo Hawkins will take over Graham's responsibilities in marketing for Regatta while continuing to head up product management for the Regatta brand.

Graham, who has been with the company for 13 years started out as national sales manager for Regatta, before becoming marketing, product and export sales director for Regatta and Dare 2b, a position he has held for the last eight years.

Being key to the development of the Dare 2b brand from a snow wear label to an all year round adrenalin mountain sport brand has positioned Graham as the natural choice to head up Dare 2b and take it to the next level.

Graham said: "Dare 2b is currently an £11 million brand, but with Keith's investment and my dedicated team of people across product, design, marketing and sales, we have a great opportunity to make Dare 2b a significant brand in the market place."

Jo joined the company in 2000 as product manager for Regatta and Dare 2b and has moved through the ranks to become brand manager. She comments: "The restructure has opened up new opportunities for me and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead." Keith Black added: "This is an exceptionally exciting time for the business as we have opportunities for substantial growth and the new structure will enable us to maximise those opportunities."
