IGS-UK have partnered with a professional ink manufacturer with over 30 years experience in the garment decoration industry to develop StayBright4.
According to IGS-UK, the professional direct-to-garment ink is the biggest step forward for the UK and European d-t-g market since the original concept was developed over six years ago.
StayBright4 offers an economical alternative to other d-t-g inks, with its unique ‘reduced separation technology'. It has been specially developed to reduce clogs in the print head and dampers.
Reduced separation between the pigment and vehicle solution substantially reduces waste, improves quality and speeds up production.
After two years in development, StayBright4 is now available from IGS-UK throughout Europe. It is compatible with a wider range of fabrics and comes with a range of pre treatment and cleaning products.
The majority of direct-to-garment printers, especially the larger high production models, use the Epson 4880 print engine technology. StayBright4 is specifically developed to work with this product range and needs no special set-up to change over from other brands of ink.
IGS-UK provides a mild flushing solution free of charge to all users wishing to switch to StayBright4.
Typically a litre of white ink will be between £20 to £60 cheaper than other leading brands of a similar quality, the company says.
StayBright4 ink is also marketed under the Rainbow brand and supplied with Rainbow d-t-g printers.
