Sherwood Press Group managing director Jeremy Bacon and Wyndeham Press Group CEO Paul Utting have joined the BPIF's board of directors following the organisation's AGM in July.
They replace former non-executive directors Charles Jarrold (managing director, Southernprint) and Malcolm Hackman (managing director, HSW Print), who have both stood down by rotation on completion of their two-year terms of office.
Jeremy Bacon is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He first joined Sherwood Press in 1990 as management accountant, having worked previously with educational supplier and stationery manufacturer EJ Arnold and Son as a divisional accountant.
Bacon was appointed to the company's board of directors in 1992 and became managing director in 1997.
Paul Utting has a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (DipM) and an MBA from the Open Business School. He joined Wyndeham Press Group in 2003 initially as Group MD, becoming CEO in 2005.
Earlier in his career he was sales and marketing director with Southernprint, and later sales director with St Ives Web.
BPIF chief executive Michael Johnson says: " I am delighted to be able to welcome two such extremely talented individuals onto our board and the BPIF is grateful to them for contributing their time and expertise to the development of our business going forward.
"Both gentlemen have a fantastic track record of running successful companies and I know that we shall benefit hugely from the knowledge and insight they bring."
