July 13 saw one of PROMOTA's social highlights of the year. The PROMOTA Sparks John Francome charity golf day was held at the Camberley Heath Golf Club in Surrey.
Sparks is a truly worthwhile UK charity and by aiding medical research specifically for children, funds raised by Sparks have changed the lives of thousands of UK children and their families for the better.
The Golf Day is always a well-supported event and is a great opportunity for PROMOTA members to meet up outside of the office. This year we had 22 teams and as always, each team had a celebrity allocated to it. We had top names, including Kris Akabusi, Ronnie Corbett and Matthew Le Tissier play alongside PROMOTA members, which made the day even more special.
I am always so delighted with the huge amount of support we receive for this event. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of our many sponsors who helped make the day the success it was. Without their support, along with all of those who contributed, we would not have been able to raise more than £10,000, which is so vital to ongoing research at Sparks.
