Listawood £400,000 upgrade includes new Indigo press
Published:  31 July, 2009

Listawood have embarked on a £400,000 investment program to modernise and automate production in several of their key manufacturing areas. It will result in what Listawood say will be the most technologically advanced printing and finishing equipment of any mousemat or magnet producer in Europe.

As part of the upgrade, the company have installed an HP Indigo press, together with coating and finishing equipment designed and manufactured by a UK engineering firm. The new machinery will enhance the quality of the products, while delivering much needed capacity in key product lines.

"We are committed to providing our customers with industry leading service and have received five Supplier of the Year awards in the last five months.  Investment in technology helps us to meet the needs of our customers quickly and effectively," said managing director, Alex Turner.

"Due to our state of the art machinery, we are now able to offer price points traditionally associated with Far East sourcing on our UK manufactured fridge magnets, combined with our unbeatable lead-times and award winning service."

Listawood produce millions of fridge magnets every year and the product is growing in popularity. Magnets are a low cost, effective way of getting key messages into the home and are particularly popular with local authorities, home improvement companies, take-away restaurants, pharmaceutical and veterinary, museums and galleries, travel and tourism, educational and emergency services. They're also ideal for mailings, magazine cover mounts, and both on pack/in pack promotions.

Other products within Listawood's range are novelty WordGames, handy MagNotesTM and Magnetic BookMarks.
