Russell jacket campaign focusses on decorators' needs
Published:  31 July, 2009

Russell jackets are designed to look good and work as hard as their wearers do. Now, a new campaign from Russell, focussing on their new, A5 jacket brochure, will help identify the right jacket for the right job.

The new brochure, due out at the beginning of August, is a complete departure. Instead of it being based simply around product and features, the new information and imagery will help suppliers select the the most appropriate jacket for their customers and will help suppliers identify potential new customers more easily.

The jackets have also been placed in three easily identifiable categories - Entry Level, Softshell and Sportshell and Technically Advanced.

By providing clear examples of where these jackets can be used and going into further detail about the high quality and production, Russell aims to arm decorators with the knowledge to help them grow their business.

As with all their marketing materials, this A5 brochure is blank, with space for decorator's contact details on the back.

Russell have also designed a suite of pre-designed jacket emails which can be personalised with your own logo, message and contact details and send out to existing or new customers.

Both the jacket brochure and pre-designed emails are available for download from www.jerzeescolours.co.uk/jackets. For hard copies of the brochure, contact your usual distributor.

Jonny Thomson, Russell's head of marketing said: "This year we are trying to provide materials that fundamentally help the decorator sell more. This new jacket campaign is focused on bringing the product alive and helping decorators identify possible markets into which they can sell certain styles. "The brochure highlights some questions all jacket sellers and buyers ask: what do I fundamentally need, a hood, internal and external pockets? How many? What colour should it be? Male, female or both? Fit and active? Fully taped seams? This brochure aims to make these questions easier to ask and answer."

Decoration of technically advanced outerwear can also be tough, so Russell have created some hints and tips for all their jackets. Again, these are available for download online and simply demonstrate the best way to decorate each jacket for your customers.

Russell also understand that sometimes seeing is believing and therefore have five free samples of the 510M or F for the first people to request one by emailing marketing@russelleurope.com. Simply include P&P in the subject line and your name, company and address.
