After developing our embroidery process to the largest and most advanced operation in Europe we have now added a new pick pack warehouse that perfectly complements our growing customer needs.
Established in 1988 with a 12 head Tajima in a 2000sq ft unit, we are now Europe's largest contract embroidery house, currently outputting approximately 65,000 garments a week.
Our premises cover some 42,000sq ft split between our main workshop, packing/QC and our brand new pick pack warehouse. We have more than 275 embroidery heads across all new machines, which operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Our most recent machine purchase was the first of its type in Europe - the new Barudan 18 head V series, pictured right.
Our core business covers contract trade only embroidery services to suppliers of workwear, schoolwear, promotional/gifthouses and global sportswear firms.
We also provide embroidery digitising services to many companies - and as embroiderers we know how designs should be punched!
Our guaranteed "next morning" service has gone from strength to strength currently providing more than 300 designs per week.
And with our own in house UK-based staff we can offer a service enhancement to the countless offshore options that have appeared over the last few years.
Product and service developments
We are always developing our embroidery and packing services - improving customer service and driving down lead times with greater efficiencies. A popular addition to our service is the ability for customers to view stock throughout the process online. Our customers each have secure IDs, which enable them to view stock details as they enter the building to the point when they leave.
Product launches
For our large contract customers we have developed a new pick/pack/storage warehouse. We store customers' product and when requested pick, decorate (if required), pack and distribute it throughout Europe.
Our customers have recognised the cost saving benefits of outsourcing this function and the obvious time savings that can be offered by having stock next to production facilities.
Since its launch we are now distributing approximately 4,000 garments a day.
We are using a fully automated warehouse management system, which interfaces with customer systems and automatically translates orders into "pick lists".
What makes us special?
The new warehouse has allowed customers to free up costly space, resource and overheads, focusing their efforts on sales.
Our efforts in making the embroidery process totally transparent means customers are proactively informed on order and stock process.
With customer lead times ever decreasing we have had to drive efficiencies to adapt to these requirements. This has meant new machinery, increased staff training and greater investment in systems.
