Edun Live has produced a range of limited edition T shirts for men and women as part of yoox.com's environmentally sustainable project Yooxygen.
Called ever.green, the collection has been designed by celebrities.
Edun Live is part of the ethically aware clothing company, EDUN Apparel founded by Ali Hewson and her husband Bono in 2005. Yoox.com, established in Italy in 2000, is the leading virtual boutique of multi-brand fashion and design in the world with seven million unique visitors per month.
The ever.green 100% organic cotton T shirts, themed on design, music and fashion, will be sold exclusively, from the end of June, on yoox.com with all proceeds being donated to Green Cross International, an environmental non-governmental organization founded by former president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev.
The first T shirt has been designed by Angela Lindvall, the American Supermodel noted for her green activities and her establishment of the non-profit organization the Collage Foundation.
She said: "My shirt was created from the shadows of trees. Our shadow side is what sometimes pushes us to grow."
