The natural beauty of the scenery that serves as a back drop for the 2009 Mantis World photo shoot, also provided inspiration for the design and build of its new P & P exhibition stand.
In keeping with the company's philosophy to ‘tread lightly on the planet' in their production and working practices, Mantis World set out to design and build an exhibition stand that not only expressed their unique style but did this with care for the environment.
Company managing director Prama Bhardwaj reported an excellent response to the Mantis World collection at the NEC. She said: "The quantity and quality of visitors to our stand this year exceeded all our expectations. We had excellent opportunities to meet existingand new customers, and talk about how we can meet their needs.
Fantastic feedback for our collection in particular the new products and our DIY bespoke manufacture service."
The company's new stand was created using only reclaimed wood and metal scraps, recycled wood, furniture and paper products, water based inks and paints as well as natural and sustainable matt flooring. These parts were dismantled and rebuilt for various shows across Europe including the the Printwear & Promotion show at the NEC. The entire Mantis World collection holds the Oeko-Tex 100 (Class 1) certification that covers babywear and has passed (with the highest standard) the BSCI's social and ethical audits.
