Mystery had surrounded its two new entrants into the embroidery market, which were exclusively sneak-previewed in last month's magazine. Visitors to the show crowded the company's stand, eager to get a first glimpse of the two new SWF machines which the company is offering.

YES reported strong interest in both its E+ series machine (which has a new colour change mechanism, increased storage memory and enhanced data flow systems) and also with its K series.

The latter features a quieter sewing action which improves machine performance and benefits the working environment. It has a new colour change mechanism to make the colour change action smoother.

There is an improved thread tension plate for smoother thread passage and improvements to machine speed variation when sewing longer stitches.

Managing Director of YES, Roy Burton, was also "delighted" with the response to the company's direct to garment printers which were also being demonstrated.

These included a new model which features a unique garment-pre treatment system, which the company believes there will generate significant demand for across Europe.

Commenting on the show, he said: "We've already had some really good feedback from visitors to the show. There are some changes taking place in the industry and this year we saw more serious customers, which really impressed us. I'm very positive about the exhibition and we've already put our papers forward to take part in it next year. It's been a very valuable experience."
