Leading multi-brand distributor PenCarrie has set the dates for a series of ‘Sneak Preview' events to introduce garment decorators to all the new products the company will be stocking in 2010. The events will take place between 9th and 20th November 2009 at venues throughout the UK.
"We had very encouraging feedback from customers who attended our first-ever Sneak Preview events at the end of 2008 which enabled them to see all the new products we are stocking for 2009," comments David Abrahams, marketing manager at PenCarrie. "As a result, we are increasing the number of events we will hold at the end of 2009, taking it out to the regions to make it easier for even more customers to attend."
The Sneak Previews are hosted by PenCarrie; and representatives from all the brands whose new products are being showcased are present. It means that visitors can talk on a one-to-one basis with the brands about their particular products and the various markets for them. Members of PenCarrie's customer services, marketing and business development teams are also present, ready to discuss the many other areas of support offered by PenCarrie to decorators.
The events held at the end of 2008 took place near Birmingham (at Villa Park, the home of Aston Villa Football Club) on 19 November; and on 25 November in County Wicklow, at the Druids Glen Hotel. "I think we all benefited from having in-depth discussions with the brands and with each other. Both occasions were also very enjoyable and had a light-hearted and social element to them. At Villa Park, for example, behind-the-scenes tours of the stadium and pitch-side were fascinating," says David Abrahams, adding, "It would seem that many regarded our Sneak Previews as the perfect way to plan for the coming year and we hope that many more of our customers will join us in November 2009 to get themselves ahead of the game for 2010."
Full details of PenCarrie's Grand Tour programme of events, including dates for specific venues, will be made available to customers later in 2009. PenCarrie currently stocks more than 1,500 products from over 50 respected brands. The range includes 325 new products for 2009.
