Victory Design Ltd is celebrating 20 years as a supplier to sign making and garment personalisation industries.
From humble origins in a small corner shop it has developed into a lively and expansive business. Recent months have seen significant changesto both products and staff that will have a lasting impact on the company.
Company owner Tony Biggin has stepped down as managing director to become Chairman after many years of service, entrusting his former role to Carole Smy.
Previously Carole was the Financial Director but is confident in her new role and is keen to drive the Clowne based company onwards in new directions and has big hopes for the New Year ahead. Neil Kelly, another of the long term directors, has retired recently and can now be occasionally spotted racing his motor home around the country pursuing his interest in photography.
Victory Design specialised in being a ‘one stop shop' for sign making supplies including sign vinyl's, sign making tools, garment films, plotters, ancillaries, inks and digital media. Towards the end of 2008 Victory Design underwent a major overhaul of the products they supply in an effort at streamlining their range.
The popular easiMARK range of garment films that Victory sells has had phenomenal growth over the past seven years and now has a broad product selection to fit every application. The selection of colours on offer, as well as the practicality of the films, has ensured its permanent place as a cornerstone of the business. New in 2008 was the introduction of the JAC and Avery digital medias and laminates which has raised the quality of the products whilst lowering the options available in order to guarantee the best print results possible.
One new aspect of Victory Design that Carole is keen to develop throughout 2009 is to focus on training for customers and staff. Victory has over 20 years acquired a wide spectrum of knowledge within the sign industry and now wants to impart this to customers in the form of online seminars, live demos and the all new vehicle wrap courses. They have demonstration facilities available to customers for advice and support when seeking out new equipment, software and materials. Carole Smy adds: "I intend Victory to become a much more customer led company with the focus being on enhancing customers business as well as our own. I believe our customer service strategy should be based upon total customer satisfaction."
