It believes Okarma's new range will prove popular in the market with two outerwear garments that on top of being fresh and fashionable also have ethical soundness. The new OK40 fleece is, unbelievably, made from recycled plastic bottles - 44 of them. It´s even more difficult to believe when you feel one of these fleeces - they´re just as soft and comfortable to wear as a fleece made from regular polyester. "The Okarma philosophy is to combine innovation with ethics", says Nicci Persey, director of Lea.

"Which is why we decided to launch this fleece for 2009. Polyester made from recycled bottles is not just a novelty; we believe that by reducing landfill waste we are doing something real to help the environment."

 The OK31 is a quality hoody which also has an ethical element - it´s made from 100% Control Union certified organic cotton.
