The UK launch of Katshu's innovative BabyTree takes place at the Promotional Marketing Exhibition, 24 to 26 March 2009. BabyTree is a miniature plant housed in a transparent recyclable capsule. Less than 5cm long and 2cm diameter, the capsule holds the BabyTree for approximately six months before it is moved to a larger pot.
Katshu's CEO, David Biais, said: "Each BabyTree can be customised through its packaging and design and can be imprinted with a promotional message, a company descriptor, logo or even contact details. BabyTree has been well received in France and Japan where we launched it two years ago and the time is now right to move into new markets."
Managing director of the exhibition organiser Volume Exhibitions, Simon Tilley, said: "BabyTree is exactly the new, innovative and exciting type of promotional merchandise that will attract the attention of visitors and customers alike. Being located in London, during the springtime, when many new budgets are being released, makes it an essential event for those involved in the business of building and promoting brands. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience not only the best of Britain but also the best of what Europe has on offer too."
